Manly
The Manly club is different from the Manly Centre. As mentioned above, the Manly Club is one of the clubs that competes at the Manly Centre. The Manly Centre is the Little Athletics Centre that is part of the NSW Little Athletics Association. As the Manly club is part of the Manly Centre, being a member of the manly Club automatically makes an athlete a member of NSW Little Athletics.
To ensure that the club is run as efficiently as possible, rather than having its own committee requiring additional volunteers, the Manly club chose to be administered by the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Centre committee. This ensures that the Manly club’s interests are represented at the highest level within the Centre. Contact between the athletes, their families and the Manly club is through the Manly club liaison officer. The Manly club liaison officer should be the first point of contact for any club or Centre related questions. Click here for contact details.
Manly Uniforms
Black or maroon shorts are to be worn. These are not club specific and are generally available from Big W, Target etc. Singlets and T Shirts with the Manly logo are all acceptable as tops of the uniform and can only be purchased from the Manly Centre at a collection day or competition day.
In the event that an athlete is notified that they have been selected as a Manly Centre representative for State Relays, Zone, Regional or State, or they elect to compete at the NSW State Multi competition, then they must compete in a Manly Centre representative uniform NOT their Manly uniform. The Manly Centre representative uniform can be purchased from the Manly Centre closer to the representative carnival. As the Manly representative uniform is different to the Manly club uniform, parents are advised to attach registration numbers and age patches to the Manly club uniform with safety pins rather than by sewing them on as they will need to be transferred to the Manly Centre representative uniform if selected.

Manly Club Awards
The winners of each award are determined by the points that the athletes have scored throughout the season and are calculated differently to the Manly Centre awards. This means that athletes that win Manly Centre awards may not necessarily win a Manly club award and vice-versa. Points for the awards are allocated based on where each athlete finishes in an event compared to other Manly athletes in that age group, as well as PB’s achieved and number of events competed in.
The Manly club awards presentation is held at Narrabeen on the last day of the season before the Manly Centre awards take place.
