Peninsula
To ensure that the club is run as efficiently as possible, rather than having its own committee requiring additional volunteers, the Peninsula club chose to be administered by the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Centre committee. This ensures that the Peninsula club’s interests are represented at the highest level within the Centre. Contact between the athletes, their families and the Peninsula club is through the Peninsula club liaison officer. The Peninsula club liaison officer should be the first point of contact for any club or Centre related questions. Click here for contact details.
Peninsula Uniforms
Athletes wear black shorts which are not club specific and are generally available from Big W, Target etc. Crop tops, singlets and T Shirts with the Peninsula logo are all acceptable as tops of the uniform and can only be purchased from the Manly Centre at a collection day or competition day.
In the event that an athlete is notified that they have been selected as a Manly Centre representative for State Relays, Zone, Regional or State, or they elect to compete at the NSW State Multi competition, then they must compete in a Manly Centre representative uniform NOT their Peninsula uniform. The Manly Centre representative uniform can be purchased from the Manly Centre closer to the representative carnival. As the Manly representative uniform is different to the Peninsula club uniform, parents are advised to attach registration numbers and age patches to the Peninsula club uniform with safety pins rather than by sewing them on as they will need to be transferred to the Manly Centre representative uniform if selected.

The winners of each award are determined by the points that the athletes have scored throughout the season and are calculated differently to the Manly Centre awards. This means that athletes that win Manly Centre awards may not necessarily win a Peninsula club award and vice-versa. Points for the awards are allocated based on where each athlete finishes in an event compared to other Peninsula athletes in that age group, as well as PB’s achieved and number of events competed in.
The Peninsula club awards presentation is held at Narrabeen on the last day of the season before the Manly Centre awards take place.

Athletes selected to represent the Peninsula club will be notified by the Peninsula club liaison officer prior to the Colbert Shield. Athletes must compete in their full Peninsula uniform.
